"I've never worked with a more professional youth theatre company. When rehearsals begin, you enter a room bursting with talent....I have found that no matter what role you play in the production, be it actor or crew member, the experience is one of hard work and rewarding results."

How to Succeed in Business

Reviews from the Community

On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Santa Barbara Community Youth Performing Arts Center, congratulations on a wonderful production of How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying. Many of our board members saw the show over the weekend and were very excited and impressed with the quality of the production on all levels. - Rod L.

I want to thank you, the cast, the orchestra and all those who assisted with creating a wonderful evening "tonight". West Side Story has always been one of my favorite musicals. I remember seeing it as a boy in the late 50's or early 60's. I remember buying the record and listening to it for hours at home. The story is a timeless one and from the Middle East to our own town, its message is a strong and needed one. You and your team brought it to life for me tonight and I thoroughly enjoyed it. As a physician who deals with trying to help people acknowledge and change the way they react to their feelings, I am enjoyably in awe of the artists who created this play and put into action this tragedy. - Joseph F. M.D.

The Miracle Worker

Thank you for the amazing experience Kevin enjoyed working with you and the young actors of SBYT. The production of Miracle Worker was so beautifully done. The depth of feeling and the complexity the students brought to their roles and the telling of the story was very moving. Congratulations to all. - Linda & Eric B.
